Loïck has an extensive background of achievements in multihulls in both inshore and offshore racing. Peyron is not only a remarkable sailor but an experienced team manager and a leader at heart. He is well versed in adaptation and change and working towards the end goal. From early on in his career he gained success in many different types of sailboats.
In the late 1990′s and early 2000′s Peyron won the ORMA Championship four times and the Single-handed Transatlantic Race three times. For the 33rd America’s Cup in 2010, Loïck was co-skipper of Alinghi the Swiss challenge. In 2011 he won the Barcelona World Race in a monohull then went on to win the Trophée SNSm and then set the Round Britain and Ireland record aboard the Banque Populair V trimaran. Just this year he won the Jules Verne Trophy setting the record for the fastest circumnavigation of the globe in just 45 days. Peyron was the skipper for Energy Team France in the 2012 America’s Cup World Series before lending his expertise to the Artemis Racing team in November 2012.
