Team Member » Curtis Blewett

Curtis grew up sailing on the small family keelboat, as well as hunting, fly fishing and playing rugby in British Columbia.
As a climber/rigger, he fit naturally into the role of a bowman on the big boats since his early days in the sport.

Curtis has a big passion for outdoor adventures, ski mountaineering and paragliding which has taken up the most of his free time in recent years as he tired of walking down big mountains.

Curtis particularly enjoys the technical aspect of the America’s Cup, developing speed in the boats and the efficient minimalism that is required to win.

He feels lucky to have worked with so many smart people over the years, makes the long hours worth it in these campaigns.

If you can’t find him sailing, check around the Dolomites!
